Nestlé Canada is working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and is voluntarily recalling four batches of the product due to a quality issue. The minerals in the formula may separate over time and appear as black particles in the concentrate. Consumption of the affected product could lead to lower intake of some nutrients, due to reduced bioavailability.

We are immediately contacting customers who received Nestlé Good Start 2 Concentrate 359ml Tetra Box with Omega with the affected batch codes and arranging for all products to be returned.

As a precaution, we are recommending that any consumer with the affected batch codes should stop using the product. Consumers should contact Nestlé Consumer Services, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST at 1-855-395-1238 and then dispose of the product.

As always parents with any health concerns should consult with their health care practitioner.

At Nestlé, the safety and quality of our products are a non-negotiable priority for the company.
