In case you haven’t heard this Thursday, February 9 is National Pizza Day and to celebrate Delissio Rustico will be partnering with one of the most famous disruptors yet: UBER.
This Thursday, 200,000 UberEATS users in Toronto will receive an email blast encouraging them to celebrate National Pizza Day with Delissio Rustico. From 6-9 PM, using the UberEATs technology, we will deliver full, one-of a kind pizza nights to Torontonians. These lucky consumers will receive a full #pizzanight kit, complete with a full size Rustico Pizza, two cans of Perrier and Häagen Dazs Gelato cups. All of this will be delivered in a beautifully designed box to elevate the experience of these lucky consumers and encourage sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
To add to the excitement, there will be 200 UBER couriers with Delissio Rustico branding on their car doors. This is an exciting opportunity for the Delissio team to test a new route to market, as well as consumer acceptance of having frozen product delivered directly to their door.
